Another sweet result of our inspiration from MLK today. We talked a bit about heroes/heroines and how they can be people we know or people we’ve read or heard about…Right away, Caleb decided on a very special heroine…it made me think how powerful our lives can be to the little ones God allows us to touch. I was thinking that maybe YOU are a hero to some person, big or small…and you don’t even know it…here’s my sweet son’s words about a heroine he knows and loves deeply…
MY AUNTIE…
She went to other countries to serve God…She told so many people about Jesus and helped them feel better.My Auntie shows me love and she’s very very kind.I just think that’s amazing. It makes me want to encourage her and be more like her by helping other people.
My guess is, you’re pretty encouraged, Sis…I am too…and I’m so thankful for a sister who is a heroine to my kids…and to me. I love you.
