Today was a day of opening our hands…and letting go.
Dave worked his last day at the Army Hospital. What a mix of emotions…joy and sadness…excitement and freaking out!! We’ve loved all that God has done in and through us in our time in the Army…what a surprising and fulfilling 11 years it has been…we thank Him for it all.
The kids and I surprised Dave at lunch with some treats and a big cake…my favorite touch was the big footprint that Evie put in the cake!! It just gave it more love :)! The halls were filled with balloons and confetti…it was beautiful! We made Daddy a very special dinner and our sweet Ella decorated the table in her beautiful way!
We step forward into a new season…with anticipation…
